My insurance company has been sending me a lot of information about supplemental insurance. It seems like there are a lot of choices for disablity, long term nursing care and even Medicare Supplemental Insurance available. I am not sure what I need right now. :nyeh: The idea of disability insurance seems to be good for the years that you are working in a career. It is designed to replace your income should you not be able to work. I think the medicare supplemental is to cover the cost of medical that the normal medicare insurance does not cover. :( The long term nursing care insurance is something you might need if you are going to have to be in a nursing home for an extended period of time. So, I don’t have any advise on what to get but those are some I know about.
