A Gifted Educator.

It is always amazing to me to meet an individual who can dedicate his or her life to an ideal. They are fully engaged in their vision and committed to giving their all in an effort to achieve their goals. Like a professional athlete or an accomplished musician they hone their instrument and improve their ability to deliver their most outstanding performance. I wonder how did they find that inner self that knew exactly what they wanted at an early age and then developed a love for it that keeps it from ever being just a vocation to meet financial needs.

Norberto Diaz is one of these types of people. His entire adult life is a commitment to teaching children from kindergarten to junior high the art of music and the love of music. He prepared himself in early life through his own education to enrich the lives of thousands of children in the New Jersey School system. He has been a teacher and an administrator dedicated to improving the education experience to really connect with urban children and keep them in school.
