One of my friends Rachel lives in New York and was out walking her dog. When she went down a street and this loose dog with no leash came running up to her and starting trying to fight her dog. My friend stuck her hand between them and the loose dog bit her bad and tore her skin. She had to have several stitches and her hand is really sore. They found the owner of the dog and fortunately it was vaccinated against rabies. I told her to contact a Rochester personal injury lawyer and find out what she can do to compensate her for her doctor’s bills and pain. She is really reluctant but I said it doesn’t obligate you if you just go talk to them. I hope she does it!

That is so true - cuz what if that dog had Rabies??? I would take the owner to court and make sure he paid my medical bills off…

Can relate to this…i got a dog before and when i was taking it out for a walk on a leash this neighbor dog came rushing to my dog and they fought…when i was trying to cut the fight my dog indeed up biting me but im sure it wasn’t on purpose coz i know he was meaning to bite the other dog…i was lucky i got a small cut. I ended up going home and washing my wound and putting a ginger on it though my dog was vaccinated for Rabies
