There are a lot of horses here in the Midwest because so many people have ranches and acreage with their homes outside of Kansas City. One of our friends has riding horses and I was watching her as she took care of them. I was surprised when she gave them each a big pill. I could not believe how big! She said it was horse supplements. I never heard of feeding livestock supplements like that. She said it is a lot easier to keep her horses healthy then to nurse them back from sickness, duh!
