Everyone knows that since I won a strand of beautiful pearls that I have really started to enjoy pearl jewelry. I love the white pearls against my skin and now I know the best pearls are Akoya pearls. This is a pearl from Japan and they can cost up to $12,000 for one strand! I wondered why but you can see it for yourself in this picture. They are so very lovely. They have such soft luster and wonder shading. What do you think?
