Finally it was year. My appointment to meet with Dr.Kavanaugh.
He showed me a mold cast from my teeth then he told me how he was going to fix them and he also told me the price of my braces OMG!! :dead: Then he said I needed to pick my color. The choices were gold, silver or invisible. I choosed Silver then they put me in the chair and glued all these connectors in to my teeth by the assistant. Then doctor came back to make sure they were all straight. :shocked: They took an ultraviolet light and shined it on the holders and that cements them in place. :star: They stock a couple of plastic spacers between my back teeth and it kinda hurts right now. :ohoh:

I choosed pink bands(of course), even though my hubby wanted me to do all the colors in the rainbow. :rolf:
That was all i was finished. They showed me how to care for my teeth with the braces and gave me a kit bag full of cleaning things and things to chew on! Now i have to brushed every time I breathe LOL!! I can’t eat any hard foods, no candies, no ice..no crunchy things, sticky and this is gonna be up to 30 months. Grrrr!!

Nextweek I’ll go back to get the wires to put on and that is when its really gonna hurt. So expect me to be a pain in the ass after that! I will be whining a lot, so Please be supportive..harhar!!

Way for braces!

Braces aren’t cheap. I know that for sure now. We went to visit Dr. Kavenaugh for an initial consultation on making my teeth perfect..harhar!! After he got over how beautiful I am, he examined my teeth took bite impressions, xrays, pictures, and a mold o my teeth. *-: Even though their very nice It was still very difficult and I had to hold my breath a lot. They also didn’t have a mold small enough for my mouth so they tried to cram this american size mold in my little filipino mouth.ahaha!! :rolf: It almost rip my lips off, they strech my face out so much. OMG the things i’ll do for beauty.LOL!! Anyway, an estimate of up to $5800.00 to get all my teeth in line over a 2 years period. :bigrin: Not bad really by U.S cost and these guys was really nice and the reason we went there is my hubby knew him from previous work. Ooh well I have to go back on July 22 for 2nd appointment. Hopefully I’ll get my braces that time.

Finish with that I was starving so we went to a crappy Sonic and now I know that our Sonic in Smithville is a good one. :mmm: I can tell by the chicken nuggets.wahaha!! Then we stopped at the Manila Grocery so I could stuck up on Filipino Food. Some mexican guy there was making eyes at me but I ignored him Of course!! lol

Now im back home, trying to catch up on everything. I have to give my sis a full report. haha! Catch you guys later!! :ohoh:
