Hot tub dreaming.

Circling down to the run way in Oakland California we watched out the window at the backyards with their pools and their hot tubs. It was such a contrast the blue pools, the green grass versus the brown or gray hot tub covers. We laughed to each other how all the yards look the same with their big hot tub covers. When we went to my sisters they had a pool but it was above ground and it was so hot there. :ohoh: I understood how everyone would want a pool of some kind.

We got to go up to our brother in law’s sister’s house near Sacramento for dinner. They had a in ground pool and a hot tub too. :smile:However, they had the coolest hot tub cover. :bigrin: They actually avoided the ugly gray or brown panel type tub cover. It had a beautiful picture on it. When they took it off, they set it behind the tub and you could still see how pretty it was. :cool:

My hubby asked David where they got the cover and he told him that they didn’t buy the cover like that. He said they went online and found a site where you could purchase the scene of your choice and trim it to fit your cover. :mmm: Since we had recently seen so many covers from the air I thought what a great unique idea it was. I would like to have a hot tub just so I can pick my own scene to display. haha

It has become part of my schedule since coming to the U.S to walk on the tread mill. This is the first time i have had to depend on exercise equipment to keep in shape. :bigrin: When i am in the Phils I am always outside walking to the market or to the bus stop to go shopping. lol

I didn’t realize how much exercise i was getting doing this. Here in the U.S we just walk out the door and get in the car and drive to where we wanna go. :ohoh: I really miss this from the Philippines because I don’t get that much and fresh air. :shocked: It seems like I catched an illness here much easier and stay sick longer. I blame this on not being outdoors as much. I think partly to blame is being in an apt. that has no outside area. We are hoping to relocate and get a house with a yard maybe in California. hope..hope..hope!! :rolf:

Baby shower.

My sister wants me to attend a baby shower with her. :mixedup: This would be the first baby shower either one of us has ever been to. What do you take to a baby shower? I supposed you just buy some baby clothes however do you buy for a boy or a girl? :ohoh: Maybe we can check the baby shower invitations and find out what gender if they already know. :sweatdrops: The funniest part of this is my crazy sister lives in California and she wants me to go all the way from Missouri to attend this baby shower. :rolf: This girl must really need some gifts. Ooh well im working over getting past my sickness first.

Recently heathers been moving and we been helping her and we will be glad when she’s done. :shocked: We have to help her because she always helps us when we move. So you know there is that i owed you a move thing all the time between us. Actually we would help anyway because she is great person. Ok that’s all.
