BIG City Shopping.

After we left the “little quiapo” we stayed at the La Quinta Inn. Wow what a good night of sleep we got. The room was really nice and it was warm. The place we stayed the night before, the Red Roof Inn was effin cold. We just kinda holed up in the room even eating dinner in there. I spent some of the time catching up with bessy bhem in Ym but hubby slept really early about 9pm. I went to bed not long after dat.

The next morning we were kinda slow getting around hubby brought us breakfast into the room: waffles and coffee. Then after I got ready hubby said he is gonna stop in one of the nicer malls in Chicago called the “Woodlands” . When we first got there I was little disappointed b’cuz it looked old on the outside but we went ahead in park and went in.  :aww:   Surprise, Surprise!! It was really nice mall. It was 3 levels and lots of glass, marble and shiny chrome. We counted the stores and we think there is about 400 in there, (really a lot bigger than Kansas City).  We went first to Sanrio Store which is all pink stuffs there. I bought Jewelry box, (to replace my old one), Twin LiL Stars Cellphone Charms and Sticker Charm. They are really cute~ i love them:<33.  :music: I also bought a Cute lil Organizer && a Pink Pouch.

We were walking down through the mall lookin at stuff, when we came across to this little cart cover with accessories. I noticed the pink lil fone cover and wonder if that will fit my fone. I picked it up && it fit perfect- the trim was even my favorite pink.  :nervous: I was thinking this guy is gonna want $50 for this case cuz I just paid 50dollar for the case for my camera but then he said 30 bucks so I kind of still lookin it over and he said okay $20.00~ Of course I bought it!! The Big Skechers Store was next~ I found three pairs of pink shoes. I narrowed it down to one and now they’re mine. Pics below of all shopping experiences. LOL!

Oh my gosh, this trip is gonna take 3 post to tell the whole story, haha!! Oh well, I hope you like it so far. More to come tomorrow. Bye for now guys.!

Forced Chicago Trip.

WOW, what an adventure Chicago was. We left Kansas City about 6pm we had a 9hours drive ahead of us. It was cold when we left here and because we went north into Iowa it continued to get colder. We couldn’t keep enough heat in the usb to stay warm.  :dead: We finally stopped about half way across Iowa. I am so cold, I can’t feel my feet && my nose feels like it’s goin` to fall off. No, I only have a little nose anyway and part of my cuteness so it’s pretty important to me,LOL!

We had stopped at a truck stop and after we went to the restroom. Hubby starts looking around in the store, he said he wanted to get me a blanket but I’m telling him NO,NO becuz I don’t want him to spend extra money. But he keeps insisting && finally he found an electric blanket. So that’s solved the cold problem there. :grin:

Chicago was a huge huge, cold cold effin city. When we got up in the hotel in morning. It took us from 7:30 to 9:30 to travel only 20miles to down town. They were big piles of snow everywhere, the “Michigan Lake” was huge and looked like it was completely frozen. (imagine the ocean frozen) it’s that big.  The buildings were amazing , I have never seen such tall buildings. We saw the sears tower which I think is one of the tallest in the world. We park in there under ground and then we walked to get my picture taken. Again, so effin cold..you couldn’t believe it.   Finally this photographer knew what he was doing && made me six nice passport photos. I hate them, but I know they were what the consul wants for the passport. We took a cab from there to the consulate and we were outta there in about an hour.

They were really nice, they look at my information and processed it quickly. It will be 6 weeks and they will send it priority mail to the house. I will soon get the replacement of my lost passport, it should be here by the end of February.  :<3: They even gave us the name && address of the “little quaipo”. We went there for lunch and I took some pic for you guys. I’m gonna stop here because it is getting really long. I will tell you about our trip back to kansas city on my next blog (more pic in friendster).

Chicago Bound.

Gotta go to Chicago tomorrow night and I still don’t have a shirt to get a picture passport taken in. So when hubby got home we run down to Hollister. I looked at just one shirt in there~ kind of an oxford button down without buttons on the collar. In the front they had just blue and plain white but in the back I found a cute pink with a white collar so I grab it and put it on. It fit perfect.  I bought it and a pink thermal long john because it’s colder than hell in Chicago. I then stopped in Hot Topic and picked up a pairs of long socks.

Now I guess I’m ready to go. It’s gonna be a long trip driving the whole way 8 hours/one way. I hope we get to visit a “Little Manila” and eat some good food. I won’t be back til weekend some time. So behave yourself while I’m gone, lawls.
