Careers in a Down Economy

May 4th, 2010 — 4:50pm

It may be hard to believe but now may be the best time to work on advancing your position even though the job market is much tighter. Companies who are looking for employees are being much more detailed in finding just the right fit for the position they have open which can make your efforts to improve your career by working on your skill set and education may land you on the right opportunity. My advice is to access what you love to do and then make sure you have the skill set to do it now. Careers move fast so don’t sit around waiting for something in your life to change before you attend that class or do that online training that will further qualify you to get the good jobs!

Moving Up With a Masters

August 18th, 2009 — 11:18pm

My hubby has wanted to get a Masters Degree so he can get a better job. You need to attend a program but first he has to pass what is called a GMAT test. Getting ready for that pass or fail test is a lot of study, especially if you have been out of school for a while. I am thinking he may need a GMAT prep so he can make sure he is prepared. It is best to be sure when spending this kind of money!
