TV Upgrade. 19″-40″ Booyah!

Papa’s can see his game shows without his glasses now b’cuz I blew a wad of bills and got him a 40 inch Sony Bravio with surround sound of course.  Yah gurls 600 watts of booty bouncing sound.  It vibrates the whole tv room. Wat?? It is supposed to do videoke too but I dunno how.  Maybe hubby can figure it out.  For right now I am just watching movies and Papa his wrestling and Willing Willy! haha=))

Concert Tickets

We are lucky and live in a city where you get to see a lot of the top stars come to perform. The trick is landing concert tickets before they are all gone. Some of the hardest to get like Lady gaga concert tickets can take some real research and patience to land. Many fans will go and camp out in front of the ticket office in an attempt to get some of the open seating but who has time for that? I just go online to find mine and pick them up at the will call window!

Old School Games Revived!

Finding fun things to do at home can really be a challenge. There are days that the same old routine of watching television or chatting on the telephone just does nor sooth the need for fun and entertainment. I have of course the usual pastimes you all know about. That is my blogging and of course Facebook. I can spend a lot of time on those activities but after a while you can only comment of so many walls, right? So many people on there are looking for a hookup or trying to sell you real estate in Florida! Am I right?

I have been looking at more online games and ones that include social networking are nice. The ones on Facebook I pretty much have come to hate because they are all the same game with a change in the theme and skin. They are not interactive at all and just let you keep score of static changes in the game or change the clothes on your avatar, please! Ho-hum, pretty boring. The adventure games you can get into don’t really interest me as they typically take hours and hours of building up your character unless you are willing to pay for cheats. Some of the better ones even charge you for playing time.

So, I have been checking into more traditional games like online poker and slot games. I like those and they are pretty fun but no socializing at most poker games and none on a slot machine. I think something like bingo games may be the ticket for me. That is a game I always played back home and there is socializing and fun game play at the same time. The idea of bingo is such an nice homey feeling to me because we used to go play at fiesta all the time.
