Tonight we are watching the Democratic National Convention. This is my first time to see it and hubby is trying to explain it to me, from what I understand “the democrats have selected Obama over Hillary Clinton”. :whistle: The convention is so all the people in the party of the democrats can say that they all behind one candidate and work to get him elected. If they work hard to get him elected then maybe he’ll give them a good job once his president. :-) I guess nextweek the republicans which is the opposing party will have their convention. Well enuff of that, it’s pretty boring!. lol

Not unlike my day today just hanging out looking for opps, my hubby only stopped to see me only 20 minutes the whole day to see me because he is really b u s y at work.   So i just blog and chatted with friend. I know a person who has a deviated septum and he went into the hospital or a medical clinic to have it corrected. Then about a year later he was still having trouble with his sinuses always getting infected and poor breathing. He had to go then to a specialist who took care of it in a second procedure where they cauterized his nasal cavity! Well I seem to be stuck on discussing rhinoplasty so I am going to change the subject.

I am concerned about Russia invading Georgia. I really cannot imagine what is going on here. I guess Russia is the brutal opportunist that they are depicted as in every American movie about them. I don’t understand either why Georgia decides to attack South Ossetia either. They are not ethnic Georgians and apparently want their own country or to be part of Russia but who knows? Interesting is that Putin is still the power in Russia which means their democracy is now a big sham. Putin has managed to keep in power like the Stalin of old. Apparently nothing really changes when it comes to power and politics.

I wonder what Russia will do next? One of their commanders all ready is threatening Poland with a nuclear response if they deploy a missile defense system. Why would they care if a country wants to defend itself? They are not deploying missiles or even tanks, just a defensive system. I will never understand this crazy world. Why can’t we just all live in peace?
