I won’t be living the old normal life this winter because I have determined to change things up a little. For example I am going to golf in the fall in Myrtle Beach and then I am going to take my hubby for a little treat on his birthday. This is no ordinary treat as it is one of his child hood wishes.

I am going to take him to the IZOD Center to watch a professional basketball game! I have done my research and I can get IZOD Center tickets online for an excellent price. You can pick your seats and the game you want to watch well in advance so it could not be any easier. Of course I would rather go see a Broadway show but this is his time!

So, I guess it is New York Knicks tickets for him and maybe I can get him to let me squeeze in a little shopping. His birthday falls just about right for some late shopping sprees. Either that or I could score some Radio City Christmas Spectacular tickets for us and some friends! I have never been to see it and I hear it is such a great way to bring in the holiday spirit to enjoy the show. Nothing like hitting two dreams with one trip right?

Some successful ways i know of.

• LINK EXCHANGE: This will help a lot if your blog is new. Ask webmasters if they are willing to exchange links with you. You will start a good friendship by doing so and gain traffic that’s coming in to your site from other sites. NOTE: If you have a blog that has a particular niche. Make sure to only link sites that are relevant to yours. It also boosts your chances of getting a high ranking in search engine results. Do IT SMART!

• TRAFFIC EXCHANGE: This is where you earn credits via visiting websites in a given network. Entrecard.com is an example. But do not use this if your blog or website is monetized with Google Adsense because there is a possibility of your account cancellation.

• BLOG HOPPING: A lot of bloggers do blog hop because they think it drives traffic to their blog. Yes it does but isn’t it lazy to do everyday? Don’t waste your time in doing so much bloghopping. You don’t want just a Day Visitor/s. What You Want Is REGULAR visitors to your site. If your site is highly ranked in Search Engines you don’t really have to blog hop every freaking day because you will get a traffic from different websites and search engines. Sounds Great,Huh?

• RIGHT KEYWORD/TAGS: Use the right tags for your post. You might need to do a little SEO if you want to be in the top of search engines such as Google, Bing Or Yahoo. You think SEO is complicated but it’s NOT! You just have to be patience and do a lot of reading. But it’s gonna be all worth it. This is great for Google Adsense and Infolinks. Trust me:)

• SOCIAL NETWORKING: This has been my favorite one of the great ways to get traffic. Stumbleupon, Digg, Technorati, Orkut, Facebook, Twitter etc.

• BLOG COMMENTING: This is very helpful if you want a public awareness for your blog. Leave a good relevant comments/feedbacks because blog admins has the right to approve or deny any comments that are added to their site. So make sure your comment is interesting to the audience. Don’t spam peoples blog they will kill you!

• ONLINE COMMUNITIES/FORUMS: Join to many online communities as you can. Honestly, I don’t really do this because I am not a FORUM person. I can’t be updated enough to stay to this kind of thing. But it sure helps to gain traffic to your blogs. You can get free advertising when you go to forums that have the same niche within your site and you can also put your website as a link signature. That should give what you want! Mybloglog, Blogcatalog, Networkedblogs,

• BLOG DIRECTORIES: Submit Your Blog and RSS Feed To Directories. Make sure though that your url has been registered at Google, Yahoo and MSN. For Blog Directories, you can visit rss-specifications.com.
