One basic principle I have learned is that life will throw twists and turns at you at the last minute no matter what you are doing. That is why my husband and I have prepared even for the event one of us should die in an accident. It is hard enough to deal with the loss of your significant other and have to deal with the financial vacuum that is created when one income is gone. You should have insurance for your health and for your life. It is not as expensive as you might think and there are good online places to get an affordable term life insurance quote so it doesn’t hurt to check into it. Meeting a challenge like that at on your own is not the best way through it!

We went to Montana last summer and drove the whole way. We stayed in hotels and that got expensive in June, averaging about $160 per night. They are probably all $39.99 now in October! Ha-ha. I would like to get an RV and take that so we don’t have to stop at hotels and I can have my own things. We could get motorhome insurance just in case something happens to it and my things get broken! Maybe next year we can do it that way.
