Triple Movies

We were on the movie watching marathon the past few days. We watched adventure, comedy and musical. This time two of the movies were purchased on demand through our cable tv company, that’s kinda nice but a little expensive for a rental.

Quantum Of Solace-
The latest sequel in the James Bond silicon. The movie was pretty good and this is the 2nd movie for the actor Daniel Craig. I like his attitude because he is one bad ass James Bond. He just looks mean and he kills everyone he meets which is kind of his trademark.<u_u> The action was fantastic, a fight in a contraction area was choreographed so well. Uhmm.. I don’t know how they did it. This movie is definitely a recommended watch. We really love it. <o_o> I`ll give it 4 stars out of five.

High Musical 3-
HSM3 is predictable and has all the same characters as the other ones, the difference is they’re senior year. So the theme is a little bit different, they are finishing their “high school” life, that gives a chance for interesting changes. <^-^>lll The music&&dancing is always so well written and choreograph. HSM3 is no exception! I think this is going to be the last one with these actors as Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens (Gabriella) and the others. I like the extra material on this DVD because it talked about how they have all been working together creating these show/s. 3 stars out of five…maybe?

Yes Man-
Yes Man brings James Carrey back to his best kind of movie, where he is a funny, mugging and clumsy physical comedian. \(^.^)/ He was just great in this movie, too bad no Oscars for comedies^=. The movie was really well written, clever, snappy and relevant. My hubby love it, he just laugh through the whole thing because he gets all the humors. I laughed through the whole thing too because the story was so funny that I caught a lot of the humor myself. This is kinda hard for me to do on an English movie sometimes, because some of their jokes are very childish, haha!! =___=; So I guess this move is a 5 stars out of 5. You really need to see it if you want a good laugh.

Humpty Flash

First, thanks to Sis Aiiyah for the nice link button. Where did you get dat pic?..haha! Jokes! Seriously sis, thank you. I love it. This is the first  “link button” I’ve ever recieved. Mwah!! :<3:   Bored today, it’s hump day. My hubby works all day and he only stop to see me for a few minutes and dump some Sonic Popcorn Chicken on me and my favorite Ice cream Chocolate Sundae.   I like it all except for the cherry. Last night we watch “Wanted” movie with Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy. It was pretty good, it had lots of killing in it. The acting was good but not great, and the story was interesting though I don’t wanna tell you what happen because there’s a twist that makes the whole movie so I won’t ruin it.

Anyway I’m still looking for the I found several on ebay but they are all in Hong Kong. :beep: I am nervous about buying one from Hong Kong because I don’t want a fake knock off. I’m going to keep looking until I found one in the U.S or maybe just wait until the new PiNK iPhone is release in Feb 2009.

Hubby’s Bday & Shopping 4me.

First and Foremost~ Congrats to Manny Pacquiao pound for pound the worlds greatest boxer. He beat Oscar Delahoya today even though everyone said he would lose. He fought a great fight and showed not only does he had a lot of heart, he got crazy skills. He make the Filipino everywhere “proud”.

Got up this morning through down my cup of coffee because it’s time to take hubby out for his birthday. Heather and Sean joined us at Cascones for a breakfast.
We had pancakes, biscuit and gravys. It was so good I was just gonna have a bite of pancake but then I almost ate the whole thing.   We went from there to the Ameristar Casino and gamble  little while we are waiting to watch the afternoon show of TWiLiGHT at the Theater Ameristar. Twilight was good. I like the movie. However.. .I didn’t fall in love with Edward Cullen, he is cute but my hubby is sexier and nice looking.harhar!!! Sorry girls~  wink   Seriously he’s ok but you know nothing special. I did enjoy the movie esp the popcorn and I`m thinking about reading the book, but it sounds like a lot of work.haha

Afterward, We went out to the mall for some shopping I got a couple graphic t-shirt at Wetseal. I paid too much. I wasn’t paying attention to the sale..but not too bad. I made up for it though in “Hollister” cuz I’ve found a whole lot of tops on a really good sale over 50% off. I started picking one of each color to make sure I had enough:P Then while we’re walking to the mall We stop at a boothe that had ceramic hair straighteners. The guy did a demo on my hair and it looks so G O OD~ so flat and shiny that hubby bought me one for My-Birthday-Gift on His-Birthday.hehe!! I got it for ($99.99) pretty expensive but worth it. they also gave me a bottle of free shiny cortex. It’s me perfectly : it’s pink, it’s stylish and it’s expensive.LOL! they have all sort of colors. I really need this kind because my other one is like a metal (Conair) errr.. and it’s giving me split ends.

We grab dinner at S o n i c on the way home then hubby found an illegal streaming video of
Dela Hoya vs Pacquiao fight. We both cheered PacMan on to Victory. We’re almost ready to go sleep now. Imma go do some modeling to my hubby. Later everyone :<3:
