Outdoors Adventuring

Sunday, Nov 14, 2010 @ 9:13 pm

Vacationing can get dull if you do the same thing every year! We are going to try some hiking this year but we are working up to it physically! You don’t want to go out with your new Gregory Backpacks and collapse by the side of the trail! Ha-ha! Getting fit means taking progressively longer walks and in some terrain is very helpful so your legs get used to the strain of climbing.

Taking vacation can be very tiring. It’s a good thing that it is so much fun! We went up through South Dakota and stop at “badlands” and then wall drag and finally go into the black hills to see Mt. Rushmore and crazy horse monuments. :^- The hotel prices were crazy, we had fun gambling in deadwood - hubby and heather taught me a car game but it sucks b/c heather is really really good. I think she cheats, LOLS. >_< It took us two days driving to get there. We cross Wyoming and Montana as well. (Those states are so much more beautiful than Missouri) He-he! Lotsa rivers && mountains ;)

It was hubby’s dad 80th birthday and he was really surprised to see everybody there. I’ve met all my hubby’s brothers and his dad. He’s really nice, just a little old man :P All his bros kinda look the same and no bitches sisters, oh well! They doesn’t seem to care. Tsk!

We came back on Sunday and stopped to visit the house that my hubby lived in when he was a little boy in Billings, Montana. We also went by his old school.
He remembered them being bigger.

We did so many stop. It’s effing hot there but still I managed to take quite a few pictures. I am NOT going to elaborate and post all of them. I’m too lazy to re-size pictures. Anyway, you can always visit my friendster account for more snaps.

Everyone knows I love vacations and someday I want to travel to all the interesting places in the world except Japan. I would love to see Mexico before it is overrun by the communist guerillas in South America! I have been looking at a cool, cool site that has these really expensive homes you can rent right on the ocean down there. Sea Side Reservations is the company name and the site is really terrific. It is done just the way I like them to be. Great outside pics of the vacation home and shots of every room in the house so you really know what to expect. I also love the outside views they give you so you have an appreciation of the scenery and the surroundings of the villa. I have been checking out the Rocky Point resorts and that looks like uber fun! So have a look see at the Sea Side! Ha Ha I’m funny!
